How to remove blood stains?

blog

Removing blood stains requires prompt action and specific methods to increase the chances of successful removal. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to effectively remove blood stains.

  1. Act Quickly:

Begin the stain removal process as soon as possible. The faster you address the blood stain, the better the chances of successful removal.

  2. Cold Water Rinse:

Rinse the stained area under cold running water. Hold the fabric with the wrong side facing the water to push the stain out of the fabric fibers.

  3. Continue Blotting:

Continue blotting with a clean section of the cloth or a new cotton ball until no more blood transfers onto the cloth.

  4. Cold Water Rinse Again:

Rinse the stained area again under cold running water.

  5. Soak the Fabric:

Allow the fabric to soak in cold water with the enzymatic detergent for at least 15-30 minutes. This gives the detergent time to break down the blood particles.

  6. Check the Stain:

After soaking, check the stain. If it's still visible, repeat the pre-treatment process with additional enzymatic detergent.

  7. Wash as Usual:

Wash the garment as you normally would, following the care label instructions. Use the recommended amount of enzymatic detergent for the load.

Always check the care labels on your garments for specific washing instructions and guidelines.
